The Centre for Research in Indian Systems of Medicine (CRISM) is responsible for designing, formulating and implementing policy for promoting, propagating and Advocacy for Indian System of Medicine in USA, Scientific acceptance of Indian System of Medicine, Preparation of Dossiers for Market Authorization etc. CRISM is dealing with propagation and development of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Yoga, Naturopathy and Homoeopathy systems of medicine in India and USA.

CRISM shall encourage and facilitate cooperation for research activities between the Indian and US academic and industrial institutions. It will also facilitate dialogue between scientific community and regulatory bodies of the two countries and to evolve a platform for such regular exchange. This center will work to provide and promote authentic information about the strengths of Indian systems of medicine and to help demystify the misconceptions about these systems of medicine in USA.

CRISM shall endevour to get recognition of other developed and developing countries for our systems for health care and also focus on the positioning of our standardized products in the market of developed countries to attain global leadership. Center will also work towards the scientific acceptance of Indian systems of medicine and the products thereof by promoting the drug standardization for classical formulations, ensure good manufacturing practices, and strengthen regulatory mechanism within India.
